What is Consignment and why you should consign with us?
Consignment is a business arrangement in which a business (RENT THAT RACK) agrees to pay a seller (you) for merchandise (clothes, shoes & accessories) after the item sells.
It's A Simple Process. Simply bring in store or send your items by post (at your expense) to any of these locations (please specify shop name):

You earn $$ - You earn a % of the selling price for your items (please check our consignment rates). We cover all the selling and marketing costs including photography, editing, customer assistance and Australia Wide Shipping etc.

What do I need to do?
1. Get in touch - Before visiting us in-store please complete the form below, or complete our consignment form and send us a photos of the items you want to consign with us.
2. Send – Once we have selected which items we can sell, send us your items by courier or registered post or drop them at our store.
3. Authenticate – Once we receive your items, they will be carefully authenticated in person by our team. We also submit certain pieces to our third-party authentication partner, Entrupy (An Additional Fee Applies If Your Require Us To Do This Service) If you already have a proof of purchase receipt then this is suitable.
4. Sell - We photograph, style, market & sell your items through our distribution channels, including our main stores at Grange Road Kidman Park & Churchill Centre in Adelaide as well as our website, Facebook & Instagram.
5. Get paid - You earn up to % of the selling price of your items. Read our Consignment rates. You will be paid by direct deposit when the item sells.
Express delivery is available as an option at check-out for a standard cost of $35 And Standard postage $20. Australia Wide. We do ensure all parcels are 'sign on delivery'. This Includes Full Packaging To Protect Items
Refunds – We do NOT accept refunds on the items sold. Please select carefully.
Returns – We do NOT accept returns or exchanges. Once the item is sold, we pay the consignor therefore, all sales are final.

- Price all items based on extensive market research. Each item is assessed and priced taking into account the original retail value, condition, current market value, and other factors.
- Take images of each item, style it and edit to showcase your pieces in the best way.
- Sell items through our active database online and in-store customers.
- Offer around the clock customer service to assist with any queries customers may have around sizing, styling and condition.
- Process all sales, payments and shipments to customers.
Rent That Rack Consignment Terms and Conditions
A consignment request form must be fully complete and included with all items for consignment. The consignment term begins once the goods are priced and the terms agreed. The consignor acknowledges there may be a period of time between the consignment term being agreed and the items placed for sale.
Rent That Rack will arrange for the marketing, sale and distribution of consigned items through all their channels depending on room availability including Grange Road Kidman Park & Churchill Stores, Website, Facebook & Instagram. For online sales, the buyer pays for shipping.
Rent That Rack will be responsible for any loss of or damage to merchandise while it is under Rent That Rack's Control
Merchandise shall remain the property of the client until sold in the regular course of business.
Rent That Rack shall devote best efforts to the sale and distribution of Consignor’s merchandise through Rent That Rack marketing channels.
All parties are to agree on the price of sale before any items are advertised for sale.
Client agrees that Rent That Rack may at its discretion, reduce the selling price by up to 20% in order to close a sale or include in store and online promotions.
The consignment period for items sold is 4 to 12 weeks (minimum 4 weeks, maximum 12 weeks).
Payments to clients occur at the end of the consignment period unless otherwise agreed. Payment terms are 7 days.
Unsold items must be collected before a payment is made unless otherwise agreed.
At the end of the consignment period Rent That Rack will provide the client with a payment statement indicating all sales transactions.
